I went down to Tijuana this weekend and it seems that things are getting hot down their. While walking to the pharmacy we were stopped by some federalies and questioned. Then again after leaving the pharmacy and they searched us. Luckily we have are gear mailed and had nothing on us. This is near that mechanical bull in the Plaza. This was mentioned before but I just wanted to let you guys know whats up.

my bro hit it 2 weeks ago and he said they were being watched . they picked up there shit headed further south did some surfing and cruzed back no prob . thanks for the update .

its not legal down there... a.s. are supposed to be controlled just nobody gives a dam down there thats why you all think that they are legal

Actually, the only steroid that is controlled in MX is Oxymetholone (syntex anapolan)... Sostenon, Deca, Sten, etc were all taken off MX's controlled substance list a couple years ago.

I'd like to see you tell the federales the law

...the law down there is what they say it is, when they say. I have had to pay them off after threats of jail.

I hear ya, I got busted the first of the year walking out of a granero with 2k worth of juice. They took us to jail. We were released 2 days later and we got our gear back. Our picture made the TJ paper.
I can't believe those bastards screw with the Americans. Half their revenue has to come from tourists/gear smugglers.

Even in mexico city they ask you for a prescription

They don't ask me for a prescription anywhere in Mexico... The law is the law- medicines are scheduled/catagorized in Mexico similarly to the way they are here in the US. Around three years ago steroids were controlled in Mexico- a lot of the farmacias complied with the law and required prescriptions.. but many didn't. It was IMPOSSIBLE for SAGAR to bust or even track down every farmacia who still sold steroids OTC, so eventually they were taken off Mexico's controlled substance list, with the exception of Oxymetholone since it is only available & approved for clinical use and is therefore manufactured in limited quantities.

Can you get busted in MX for being in possession of steroids? Yes, of course you can- it's Mexico and law enforcement does whatever the fuck they want. You can usually pay off the "street cops" there for $20-$200 depending on what they catch you with, but if you're busted by a Federal officer (Judicial Federal Policia), you're fucked unless you have A LOT of cash (if you're caught with Oxycontin by a federal cop it'll cost you a minimum $5000 for him to let you go without any charges).

The "heat" in TJ is temporary (from what my friends in TJ tell me).

Just be careful.

I had to pay them off with hundred bucks to let me go about two years ago it sucked and I didn't even have much on me they were just being dicks

One vet shop down their told me that if those fuckers bring you in to call them and they will take care of it----They also said not to pay them off(easier said then done) that it is going on alot and that customers are getting pissed-----

For all you that go down their on a reg. basis --- tipping the person that takes care of you, can go a long way---I always give $20 to the person who takes care of me----Its funny everytime I go in their, he drops what he is doing and comes right up to me---

I tried getting some Deca in Matamoros about 3 years ago, just as an experiment. They said they couldn't give it to me without a prescription, but they provided me with directions to a doctor's office and said I should just go there and tell the doc what I want, and he'd write me a scrip for it... for a small fee of course. I'm not too worried about having AS in Mexico (the federalis can always be paid off), it's U.S. Customs at the border that concerns me.

My guess is, having lived in third world countries - that the local policia are either looking to make a quick buck by busting steroid people or are targeting oxy and Phentermine users due to pressure from US feds. Most likely a little of both.

:bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

VERY EASY TO SEE WHY THE HEAT IS UP. WHY, BECAUSE THESE MEXICAN PHARMY ARE NOW NOT JUST PUSHING STEROIDS, BUT NOW THEY SELL THAT OXYCONTIN, VICODINE AND SLOW K (OR WHAT EVER THE FUCK THEY CALL IT) AND OTHER CRAP.

IT IS NO WONDER WHY THE FEDS ATTENTION HAS BEEN DRAW.

WORD OF ADVICE TO THE MEX THAT ARE DEALING THIS CRAP, STOP.

JUICE = NEXT TO NO ATTENTION

OXYCONTIN = IS LIKE RINGING THE FEDERAL DINNER BELL.

When I go to La Paz in Baja to fish I always hit the farmas. That place is so old school that the cops stop traffic for you when you want to cross the street. Last year I had a cop stop traffic for me right in front of the farma, I crossed, bought my gear and the cop was there waiting for me to stop traffic so I could cross again. The quantities are very small and I only buy enough to "gear up" while I am there. A couple redi-jects here and a couple there. The locals freak when they see me walking through the streets. 5'10" 235 shaved head and tattoos, no shirt and tank top in hand until I enter the store. I speak some spanish so this summer I will try the veterinarians, any suggestions?
