hammy will have to jump start this forum and save it from demise, i found a good way to save money on cleaning carpet stains, i bought a jar of oxy clean which is a powder that you mix in water, so i just mixed in like half a scoop with some water and poured it in a squirt bottle and it really does work great on getting a stain out of carpets. i bought a jar of it for like $4 and that would last a lifetime for carpet stains considering you only use a little scoop to fill up the squirt bottle, beats the hell out of buying a bottle of regular carpet cleaner at 4 bucks a pop.

I need my carpets cleaned. I have lived in my current place for 4 years and the carpets are super filthy, beer stains, food stains, etc...

in that case you may just want to rent a steam cleaner to do the whole carpet, this would be more for touch up jobs

Try shaving cream, it will get that stains out!

Spot Shot is a great product for carpets in a can you can get a 6 pack for $10 at Sam's I think
