Cardio while bulking?

I want to do some cardio while on my next bulking cycle just to keep from being all slow and sluggish like I usually am. How much cardio is to much?

Why not just eat clean but more and do cardio maybe once a week for health purposes. If your working out intense and not eating a shitload of junk why waste calories on cardio?

I do twice a week(one on a training day...small muscle group, and one on a non training day) 35 mins low intensity each time. Three times a week 20 mins is easier but I dont feel I get as much out of it.

I guess for hardcore BB types any cardio could be seen as taking energy away from anabolism. But for other athletes, I've noticed that doing a couple of sessions of short high intensity cardio hasn't cut into my gains and has kept my fitness level on par. I done bulking cycles in the past where I didn't do any cardio at all and it took me a long time to get my wind back, and not to mention the weight was harder to keep.

Your body has to be thinking if your doing the bare minimum of cardio while building muscle that adding more gradually won't be as catabolic, make sense? In other words don't let your body think that there will ever be a period of no cardio and maybe it will adjust.

On my current cycle i dont bother with Cardio at all

I am now 188lb (up from 177) and not added any BF so far, so i dont see the need for it (I have a fast Metabolism anyway)

My workouts are usually pretty intense anyway, so i guess that makes up for it too

Cheers

well

the new belief on cardio is that it wastes muscle. So you shouldn't do it right? wrong. Doing the 3x/week@20 minute sessions will help increase blood flow to the muscles to aid in recovery, remove waste products, maintain or increase your VO2 max, which will lead to better performance in the weight room by being able to oxygenate your muslces more efficiently.
