carbs post workout

Trying to cut body fat, should i be consuming carbs post workout? after my sprints, im just not sure if i should be consuming my protein w/ water, or w/ milk to get a few carbs in....thanks for the help.
 
Why are you sprinting if you're trying to lose bodyfat???

Sprinting is not really a workout, but is a FORM of cardio. It's not a lipolysis form, that's for sure, but after you should be eating fat/protein meals while cutting, as you have no cause to replinish glycogen to any great degree. Weight training is different.

You'd be well served to change your form of cardio for fat loss if that's your goal.

Actually SC, you're wrong. I do sprints for 8-12 weeks every-year as my cutting routine kicks in and it helps me to get into contest shape.......that, and diet of course, but interval training is the way to go...just my .04.............
