Carbing up for a show

For those who carb deplete and carb up for show.
I am thinking of depleting for 3 days. My question is whether 3 days of carb up is enough to fill up your muscles. Will I have to wake up at night to continue loading?

Your advise and experience is appreciated.

First of all...........I dont think 3 days of depleting is enough. Maybe for water depletion, but not for glycogen depletion. Secondly, your card-up should generally be 48 hours to avoid any kind of spill over.

in all honesty you should have experimented earlier in your dieting to see just how long your carbs take to fill you up. Thats what i did.

......mine usuallly take 4 days.

i start carb deplete on sunday before a show with sodium deplete. on thursday i introduce some carbs at night than friday a tad more never going to heavy. friday i eat a steak after weigh in and some more carbs and than saturday of the show keep carbs moderate as to not retain water and do the pre judge on some simple sugar ( raisin, fruit) than after the pre judge eat some pancakes and that is it as many eat to many carbs after the morning show and come back flat at night. also agree you should have tried this before. i water deplete starting on wednesday.

In case you haven't noticed you are getting different answers from everybody because there is not one right answer for everyone because not everyone is going to react the same to depletion and loading. I personally could carb load on candy bars for 2-3 days and come in hard as nails but that wouldn't work for most. - cbeaks

as ceaks said yo'll get a ton of different answers.....I sodim/water load and car deplete Sn, Mon, and Tues.....I car load and water deplete Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat morn efore prejudging.....

personally for me loading for 3 days works fine, but others say that it takes more than 3 to load the muscles, i would do some trial runs
