CARB cycling needed while on T3?

okay im just wondering sinc ei will be running a cutting cycle in a few months that will contain T3

while running T3 is carb cycling needed to keep the metabalsim running?

im asking coz whenever ive dieting ive always carb cyced to keep my metabalsim high, and always had continous and greta results with it

but while on T3 would carb cycling be nesecary? since T3 should keep the metabalsim elevated in theory

opinions? experiences anyone?

your metabolism would stay up but i still wouldnt cut carbs to low. its a recipe for disaster.

youre shredded as is. if you arent competing, whats the need for t3? are you running growth? if anything, get a script for armour thyroid. its safer.

I used t3 got great results, even when on a low 100g cab diet but I used anavar (6 weeks) to keep the strength and mass. as for the t3 I went up maximum to 75mcg. then tapered back to 25mcg. feel free to ask anything.

i am looking into competing in the near future, and if so i was curious about using T3 sinc eit would make sense if my goal is the 4-5% bf area

no im not running growth

armour thyroid? link please interested

gotta feed the baby and then off to work, ill get it to you tonight.

Cycling carbs is ideal no matter if you are on T3 or not.

Keeps the body from reaching a stalemate in the returns you are seeing for your efforts. Not to mention, your brain needs the carbs too at times to keep you sane. :)

Also, incorporate N2Slin as well to help with the carb shuttling on high and low days. Trust me, it WORKS!

it defnately works but what are your thoughts on carb cycling and keto type diets with refeeds for health aspects such as diabetes?

timtim....i have a script for some armour thyroid can you tell me about it too!!! thanks!!! GO YANKEES!!!

this is an exerpt i cut and pasted. my doctors description went something like this - armour is a mix of t3 and t4 so its a more balanced approach used in hrt programs with gh and test. where t3 alone can alter thyroid levels in either a positive or negative manner, armour is supposed to have a healthier approach. i got approved for a script but wont use until i get my gh script. i dont see the need for thyroid drugs yet. afew of the guys i train with use it, they are in the hrt point of their lives, and they love it. heres the cut and paste:

As people continue on their search for easy weight-loss remedies, products which are made for other purposes other than weight loss are now being used to satisfy this need. One of these products is Armour Thyroid.

Armour Thyroid is a brand of thyroid extract made from mixed pork and beef thyroid glands used for the treatment of goiter and hypothyroidism (a disease where the thyroid doesn't produce enough hormones). All brands contain a mixture of the T4 (thyroxine), T3 (triiodothyronine) thyroid hormones in the proportions usually present in pig thyroids (approximately 80% T4 and 20% T3). Armour is made in the following strengths: 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, and 3 grain as well as 4 and 5 grain tablets.

Armour Thyroid speeds up one's metabolism which makes it attractive to people who want to lose weight. However, many experts discourage its use for this purpose because not only is the drug meant to treat a different ailment, it is also ineffective as a weight loss drug. Health experts instead recommend maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regiment as an effective weight loss strategy.

Also, experts warn against the use of the drug when taken with appetite suppressants. Doing so would up the risk of getting some serious side effects from the use of Armour Thyroid.

Taking too much of the drug may lead to the overproduction of hormones in the thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism). Symptoms of thyroid gland over stimulation include sleeplessness, nausea, diarrhea, headache, irritability, nervousness, sweating, fever and an increased heart rate.

Armour Thyroid also tends to aggravate diabetes symptoms and under active adrenal glands. People who are also suffering from angina are also cautioned about using this drug.

i was gonna start with 30mg a day with 50 mg var ed...for 8 weeks!!!! i need to lose some bf.. well i am 37yrs old 210lbs 6ft so i getting up there too....its mucher harder than when i was 27 thats for shit sure!! thanks bro..

okay so its basically a mix of t4 and t3

so ur suggesting if i was to use thyroids, it be better to mix t3 and t4 together along the armour thyroids ratios?

i would have your thyroid (tsh, t3, t4) tested. see where you are. have your gh tested. its a healthier approach in my opinion, rather than overloading with just t3. im not a big thyroid manipulater though. others may be able to help you more. i dont f with certain drugs and thyroid meds without a script is 1 of them. i can say all the guys i know who use armour, its not something they cycle off of, love it and have had great results.

so your doc started you at 1/2 grain? that seems normal. did your gh test low too?

im not exactly old, and in my 20s, so do you think id still need to get my GH checked considering im still young?

but ill get the rest of my thyroids checked before hand, atm im using 12.5mcg daily to deal with my tren lethargy on cycle so ill have to get ti done once off cycle

but good to know good results can eb acheieved with it

usually when they test thyroid, gh is in the panel of bloodwork. considering your age, its not gonna be low so i wouldnt worry about it. i would test the thyroid though to know what dosage would be best so you dont overdue it.
