Can't get a kick out of anything!!

I've been meaning to ask this for a while...

I have a good amount of energy when I workout, and always have. My secret preworkout meal is oatmeal, whey, and an apple. It works wonders. However, I have always wanted more, so I tried some stuff: an ECA stack with ephedrine, then an ECA stack with ephedra, and then I tried Redline energy drink and...NOTHING.

FUCKING NOTHING.

I've taken up to 75mg of ephedra with over 1000mg of caffiene and nothing. I downed a Redline and nothing...NOTHING!!

Does anyone have ANY idea why? Does anyone know anything that will give me a jolt? I want to feel like I am having a heart attack!!

And by the way, I'm female, 5'9" and 140lb...

I recommend Stimulant X from AnabolicX as a good legal stim. It works well for me, but if you found ephedra plus a gram of caffeine to do nothing, you may be disappointed there too. 200 mg of caffeine wakes me up and 400+ gives me crazy jitters. I can't even imagine taking 1000.

I will say that getting "a jolt" and feeling like you're "having a heart attack" are not realistic expectations from legal stimulants. If that's really what you want, maybe you should go get some sudafed, iodine crystals, and about 200 matchbooks and get to work. Might find yourself with little appetite for the oatmeal or anything else though.
 
take a break off all stims for 1 month including caffeinated beverages
then go back and use onlysparingly on lifting days
 
Drop those stims for the time being as Ryan and Omega pointed out.

Also, remember that for most things in life, including weight training, "the incentive has to come from within, be internal and not come from something outside, being external"!

I actually never took stimulants before the ephedrine with caffiene. I actually don't drink soda or anything with caffiene in it, aside from an occasional espresso. They never affected me to begin with. I stopped taking each ECA stack only after about 3 weeks of taking each, if not less, with about a month apart. The redline I only tried once.

I also don't bodybuild per se, and I have no problem getting my ass into the gym or waking up at 5AM to run...I just want more and I can't get it. I'm getting ready to do lines here.

Does anyone have any idea why I am not affected? Just because I don't feel them working, does that mean they're not? I never understood whether the power of the fat burner came from the energy they gave or from the thermogenic effects they have?

You not feeling the drugs doesn't mean that they're not working. If they are quality substances, they are affecting you physiologically even if you don't perceive any psychoactive effects. Of course, they might not be quality substances, in which case you don't feel anything because you may not be taking what you think you're taking. Always be sure you know what you're taking.

On the topic of the "power of the fat burner," the various fat burners out there have different effects on energy levels and thermogenesis. The ECA stack, for instance, has a pretty pronounced effect on both. Levorex has decent fat burning effects but little in the way of stimulation/energy. Stimulant X offers a lot of energy but not much thermogenesis. So the "power" of these substances depends on what substance is taken relative to the goals of the user. Levorex isn't a "weak" fat burner just because it doesn't have a lot of stimulants in it, nor is Stimulant X a poor stim simply because it doesn't make you sweat all day. It all depends on what the user is looking for.
 
I don't get effected by much of anything either :( I can take 3 ECA pills and have a nap if I wanted where as if my boyfriend has one he's wired and jumping through the roof.
we maybe have enlarged spleen or something?? I have no idea but i do completely understand your frustrations :(
