I train the muscle to total fatigue till I can not even do another rep then I wait a second block out the pain and then do 1-3 more reps.
thats during a bulk cycle When the calories and drugs used are to promote strenght gains. During this cycle I train the muscles once per week. If i'm jonsing to get into the gym then at most once every 5 days.
its is to total fatigue i have thrown up after doing squats , walked out of the gym and fallen over due to fatigue (legs shaking).
2-3 movments per body part.
during a cutting cycle i train the muscle parts 2 times a week .with more movments to hit the muscle at all angles to give the muscle a more 3-d look.
certian movements to fatigue but its at a lighter weight more in the 10-12 range 4-5 movements per major body part (chest ,back, upper legs,shoulders,upper arms)
i spend one day blasting forarms, calves,rear delts but its just to get the lagging parts more defined and cuaght up
I count calves as its own body part and find my self doing donkey calves with toes going inwards ,then donkeys with toes out,seated calve rasises,standing on blocks of wood with free weights on shoulder if i dont hit the calves with 4 movements or angles to total fatigue they shrink up and lose the diamond shape.
