when I think brutality,I always think new york deathmetal.Grandfathers of deathmetal like suffo,pyrexia,gorguts,ect....only my biast opinion,but they definetelly have the sludge down.Non technical wise,suffo's "Effigy of the forgotten"Pyrexia's"Sermon of Mockery"and gorguts"considered dead"are the downright chunckiest shit around.
