Canseco was right???

b fold the truth

Anyone else remember when Jose Canseco came out a year or two ago and made those 'claims' that a large percentage of MLB players were taking some sort of performance enhancing drug?

Didn't everyone call him a liar?

I was thinking that he might have even pointed the finger at Bonds when he made a claim or two...interesting. I saw Bond's picture being held for being the poster boy for that company in CA that was giving the THG (I believe it was) to athletes.

I'd just like to see a lot of those athletes get back up and APOLOGIZE to Canseco and have to admit that he was right.

people were calling him a liar to protect the MLB image. it's widely known that steroid use is and has been rampant in baseball for years. No one is going to apologize to him...he was no longer involved in baseball so he tried to profit off baseball's dark secrets.

as far as bonds goes....anyone who thinks he doesn't juice is retarded. he is the poster boy for water retention

He is a scum bag IMO - a snitch
He beat up his wife and a girlfriend before they got tired and left his ass.

Bottom Line - Duh didn't most of us know most of todays athletes on a professional level are into shall we say...supplements.

I give Conseco no Props.

I always thought Canseco was pretty juiced looking IIRC

Jose and his twin brother Ozzie.

Well Jose claimed that like 85% of pro players were juicing, not just that some were.

Mostly true. I can tell you from my own personal experience as well as sources that are in the pros now.

Bottom line;

You need talent to get there first. "Juice" isnt the answer. A major issue I see with a lot of young kids thinking that the "juice" is the all out solution to success in pro sports.

Former San Diego Padre/Houston Astro Ken Caminiti said the same thing about steroids in baseball. After he retired.........of course....I'm guessing you'd get blacklisted for saying something while still playing.

I guess this didn't make big headlines, but Tony Gwynn, came out and said, as i recall, atleast half of the league is on juice.

That should have turned some heads as Gwynn is a very credible guy, not motivated by shock, and doesn't smoke crack or beat his wife, etc.

I could care less if anyone is on gear...at all. I just think that his name was trashed because he told the truth about the sport...it would be nice if a few reporters who trashed him actually came out and said...'you were right'.

Jose Conseco is a wife beater and a snitch...I hope the reporters run more stories about his steroid abuse and snitching on his peers. He is a HOE, He doesn't Stand for anything except being a HOE & a SNITCH. He probably broke open the THG Story by mailing the syringe so it could be reverse engineered...he is not trustworthy and he hits women...@ his size and strength he hits women..loser

If most baseball players take steroids, then why are they so skinny? Some of them have great physiques, but not many. I am a far better athlete than most baseball players and I'm not getting paid, I don't even watch that sport.

Maybe you were being sarcastic lol, but steroids can be used in many ways. You can take all the steroids you want, if you don't eat you won't grow ... it will help recovery rate and improve strength though.

How do you classify an athlete? By saying that you are better than baseball players, that would mean you can become pro right now.

A "better" physique doesn't necessarily mean more athletic, as even athletics is relative to different sports.

Thanks for that education. BTW, not only will you not grow if you don't eat, but you will starve to death. LOL

You just made a statement that you are a better athlete than most baseball players and you don't even watch the sport. Did you not expect to get a reaction?

I fail to see what AAS has to do with anything. Most professional athletes take AAS, period. They take it to improve their performance in whatever sport they play at, not to become like Ronnie.

Suspect allegation.

Have you ever played a professional sport?...........

Have you ever played any collegiate sport?...........

What makes you think you are a far better athlete than most baseball players?

I am VERY interested to know.

Chill man. I'm just having fun. Baseball players are better at baseball than I am, yes. It is all relative, you are correct sir.

canseco did hit 40 homers and steal 40 bases in a year....only player to ever do that I think....the last few years of his career were a joke tho
