do you guys eat it raw? i have been and it is so hard to eat.i was thinking of making it with ultra low fat mayo. what do you guys use?

Go to Superstore and get Franks Red Hot with Lime. This hot sauce isnt very hot at all, however the lime goes perfect with raw tuna. I always eat 2 cans at a time.

I hate the stuff personally, but to each his own, Why canned tuna, is it the easiness of it, the price, and its obvious but you dont like it I imagine, I use a fat free mayo that isnt bad, its made by smartbeat. Wheres my email wootom, want to help a brother out.

oh shit sorry bro havent checked it in awhile i will tonight bro. sorry man

Well it's significantly more expensive, but the tuna in the pouches tastes better and is of better quality I believe. I think low fat mayo tastes like total ass. You're better off using a very tiny amount of real mayo and some pepper.

blend it up with water and a pepper, olive or flax or oats & a tomato and drink it, goes down very fast, plenty of nutirents and doesnt taste bad.

To me 'gross' is eating it dry.. naaaaaasty

Most everyone can find ways to make tuna appetizing for them. Usually mayo does it for me, though I'll have to try that hot sauce and lime.

I was doing two cans with a scoop of light mayo and pepper with celery, and that was fine. I now however switched to adding a piece of fat free cheese and warming it for 30 seconds in the micro. It tastes like a tuna melt, minus bread.

Rolled oats + can of tuna + hot sauce (I use franks red hot). Cook. Add other spices if you want to. I love it.

I don't have any problem eating tuna right out of the can

but a little mayo can do the trick

Mix it with two egg whites, some mrs dash seasoning and 1tbsp of flour. Pack it into a pattie, fry it with Spam, add in two slices of whole wheat bread...tastes good.

Man, go to the Threat I put today: "Pro; 24.5, Carb 15, Fat 5, Cal 220 & YUM"

Is complete, step by step and with readily available ingrients.!

I mix each can with: garlic salt, hot sauce (texas pete) canola mayonaisse (natty and high in healthy fats), lemon juice. mix and make a spread. Yummy!!!

Tuna in pouch taste better for me, they actually come with different seasonings, just hate the sodium contents of some. You can mix tuna with just about anything, mayo, rice, hot souce, green souce, eggs, etc.

just use your imagination bro!

L...

I usually rinse the sodium off the canned tuna then I add seeded mustard. Tastes nice. Fat free mayo and tuna does not do it for me!

What i do is 1) tuna, pepper, lemon juice, and thats it.
2)tuna salad, tuna with lowfat safflower mayo made by "hollywood", cut
pieces of celery, chopped onions. (very good) Can even make samiches
3)tuna with chunky tomato salsa (its good, not VERY good but good)

How about Tuna (undrained) mixed in with a can of mackeral? hmmm, gorgeous, and at least 50grams of quality protein.

I use low fat Mayo to choke it down. In fact I'm about to down two cans right now... blah!

I eat it straight out of the can. I dont care much for the taste.I eat for nutrients and not much for flavour. The plainer the better.

I love tuna~but Albacore tuna is by far the best. It tastes so much better than regular tuna. It is so worth the 20 extra calories per can

i just bought the low fat hellmanns it has 4.5g fat per spoon and .05g sat fat...am i good to go? or am i in deep shit?

im about to spread some relish on it and see if that works

what about hellmans just 2 good mayo spread.. it only has 2 gram of fat per TBSP. The only thing is that it really doesn't taste like mayo.

I haven't tried with relish. I nortmally add little bit of onion to it. Just a little. I have variotion with fresh mushrooms, tomates, corn, etc.

My base spread it, one can of water pact tuna (monarch), two shreded noil eggs, 2.5 tbsp of mustard, 1 tbsp of mayo, a bit of lemon juice. Ah.. an fresh ground pepper for a little kick.

:)
