lol it took me a long time to get to the end of my call to AOL last year when I cancelled. I mean I had to get belligerant with the rep on the phone and I had to say no like 10 times to any continued service with them. it was not fun LOL

so you pay the cable company for your internet access and then you pay AOL for their service so you can have email through them?

the company is over-inflated. expect a 'market correcion' on aol very soon. The company knows it, which is why they hire former telemarketers to staff the lines, and get bonuses for every customer they keep.

i wonder if you can call your bank remove monthly auto-bill, and suspend all charges, after u've given them notice you're cancelling. I'd tell 'em once and hang up.

It's amazing how quickly innovations are outdating many large companies.

AOL was ahead of its time. Now it horse and buggy some 20 odd years later.
