CANADIAN'S - Scammed by heavyweights.net

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this same problem.

Heavyweights.net seemed to be a reputable company, good prices, nice site....so I place an order....
on APRIL 25th.

Had the stuf sent regular post - for free.....didn't recieve anything for 2 weeks. Decided to e-mail and ask waht happened.

Rob King (owner), quickly anwered my e-mail but then things started to go wrong.

He said he would send a replacement package via Express Post....which he claims to have done....1.5 weeks after he first said he did, and even gave me a tracking #.

Express Post is supposed to take 2-3 business days to get here, it's now been 11. The tracking # doesn't register with Canada Post...and Rob won't answer my
e-mails or ICQ messages anymore.

Do you think I've been scammed? Do you know of any routes I can take, maybe with my credit Card company to get my money back?

Please Help....I'm out $250!!!

I would give it a few more days if I were you. No I have dealt with them and still do and haven't had any problems. The thing right now with canada post is the census forums that were just sent out too, like 30 million of them.
I used to send my expenses for work to Montreal by Canada Post express. They would take like 10 days to get there. So much for express.

I have ordered a few times from them and won't do it again. The last straw was when I ordered a magazine from his site. Got an email stating it was sent the next day. Well one month later it never arrived. I sent 3 emails, none of which he replied to. I get the magazine finally after threatening action, the date sent was 3 days prior to when I got it. One, how hard can it be to send a fucking magazine, then he has to go and lie about it and the not returning emails or calls is bullshit.

dont blame the mail either, that is his excuse and it is bullshit!!! I order from Renegade Nutrition out east and anytime my order is sent express it has been here 4 days from ordering tops. When I use regular mail 7-10 days.

Do what I did for a company that scammed me. I contacted mastercard, they will investigate and I got my money back. I sent them all the emails I sent and the few that the company responded to. You can get your money back.

Funny Luke I went to check that thread from last month where you said 15 people complained after you shot your mouth at me before. Well I counted and 7 people complained! The rest of the threads were made of of people going thanks for the heads up, you had like 9 of the 57 posts and the rest were guys bumping or not agreeing.

Ok well after last monthe tirade I actually asked rob what the deal was if you want to open my eyes Luke>
I asked him what your deal was and from what I understand you ordered some adipokinetixs from him and had to wait for it because it was on back order.

Now because adipo with the stupid Canadian Laws is a real bitch to import for re=sale (ie not really supposed to sell it in the first place but everyone does) you were told it would take a bit of time to get it as it was on backorder and a product in high demand. Now after a few weeks you got all pissed off and did not want to wait anymore and from what I understand you got your money back.

Now maybe this is false but if you got your money back after bitching when you were clearly told that there was a wait does this sound like you got scammed? Don't think so.

So maybe if this is the truth and you can actually prove otherwise by scanning your actual statement then you have the right to your opinion. How about scanning some documentation from your credit card company about the fuck up or scam as you put it with them telling you your money is gone? Other then that you have no right to bitch and should stop the wailing before I smack your ass real good and flame the shit out of you.

This is no disrespect to the fellow who started this thread by the way. If you or others have legit problems with Rob or others supplement suppliers then you will have to deal with him or them and sort it out or whatever action you decide is necessary.
My beef here is with Luke69 and his constant flaming of me because I got decent service.

Another thing Luke.You questioned me on the fact that not many people were saying the service was good? Well how many topic threads have you ever seen on the internet with people starting off by going "buy from this company they are great" ?
Very few do in fact even George here at Mass Quantities can tell you that and it sounds like he runs a good service too. 99 % of the threads put up are of people bitching when it comes to companies. It's just like the old adage, have a satisfied customer and he will tell 1 person, have one unsatisfied and he will tell 10 people.

Now Luke before you start accusing me of either being Rob King or being someone who works for him let me tell you that is not the case. I live in Ontario for one thing and I have a business that I run with my family that has fuck all to do with bodybuilding or supplements for that matter. And yes I am a concerned consumer of products myself. But as a person who runs a business I really get sick and tired of people who jump the gun and accuse other businesses of unfair practices when the whole real story is not given.

I even went as far as to email Rob about this matter as a consumer who is concerned and fact is he has always given me good service and others that I have referred to him. He told me he would have loved to have responded to this but he knows no matter what he says he will get flamed for it so whats the point?

So my challenge to you Luke69 since you challnged me on the post about the service I git is to put up or shut up.
And don't put up someone elses invoice it must be your own. And if not then as far as I am concerned you are just another 19 year old juice head bouncer with fuck all to contribute to society other then standing at the door like a cementhead.

Yes his prices are very good compared to other CDN companies which is why I decided to give them a chance when I found out about them. But it seems to me he does this to get customers which is fine, he just doesn't know how to keep them. I gave him 3 chances and he fucked up all 3 times, lied to me, wouldn't answer my phone calls or my emails.

The free shipping is a good selling point but I would rather pay the 5 bucks that i do now rather then wait 2 months for protien like I have.

To those who have gotten their stuff on time I think its great but feel it is only a matter of time before its your turn to be fucked around.

Milhouse just want to point out that Rob always has an excuse the times I have been able to get a hold of him. Either its the mail or the product is back ordered. Sure he could have resonded to this but it just woulda been the same old bullshit I have heard before. I consider you one of the lucky ones to get your stuff.

With respect to Rob....The times I have ICQ'd him he has been very nice and professional...however...it does seem that he tries to ignore you and wait for you to go away once things aren't working the way he planned.

I don't see why he hasn't responded to me in the last week. All I've done is ask where my order is.

I can't see how it is good business practice to not ship people their orders and pretend like you did. This shit gets around very quickly and can't help your business.

I guess I'll try out canadasportsnutrition.com and see what kind of service I get.

If in fact my order is on the way and just held up in the mail, then I apologize to Heavyweights.net ..... but somehow I don't think that that is the case.

Taurus if you indeed do get your package, look the postmark on it and see when it was mailed. It will have a date on it and you can tell if it was in the mail or not when he said.

As for getting your money back contact your credit card company like I did for another company. They have a dept that investigates stuff like this. They will get a hold of him and if he is smart he will answer their calls. It only took a week after I phoned to get my account credited by MC after I contacted them.

Do what I did I sent him an email saying if I don't get my stuff I will take action with my credit card company. Lo and behold 4 days later i get what I ordered, mailed out on the day I sent my last email.

Dont believe that in the mail shit, like I said earlier the company I order from is out on the East Coast and it only takes 7-10 business days max for their stuff to reach me.

Well I just got in and I went to pick up my order at the post office down the street from my house.

The mailman left a card in my box saying the delivery guy came yesterday but I wasn't here. He is full of shit because I was working at home all day yesterday. The other part is the Can Post truck delivers to the medical cantre across the street every morning at 10am. I see it out my window all the time plus the muffler is so damn loud you can't miss it. I watched him drive away without stopping here at all. I think he was just too damn lazy to lift a 20 pound box.

Taurius do like I did and call the Canada Post outlet by your home and see if maybe they did pass.I have problems with couriers for work all the time fucking things up. I hope it works out for you.
