depends on where you live.

when i lived in ontario i used bell and i paid $20 max/mo between 6pm-6am evenings weekdays and all day weekends within canada. there was a stipulation of 800 mins per month max or something. i can't recall though. now i'm with telus in alberta and i pay 22/mo or so within canada flat per month between 5pm-5am or something and evenings and weekends.

to the US on telus is 18 cents/min during evenings/weekends i think. other than that i don't know what bell was.

This is sorta off subject...but I found a place where I get 4.9 cent a min. state to state 24/7....my bill has went down 30 bucks..heres the link

i use Yak. you need to dial some number before but it costs like 40% less than Bell Canada.

Im in canada, i dont have a home phone, i only use a cell, but i use FIDO and its 10cents a minute long distance anytime
