It was a good game. Canada out played the US as the game went on. The US lost. It would've been nice if they would have won, but they didn't. Apparently b/c I don't care that much about the game I'm just downplaying it like a "typical American". Allow me to apologize on behalf of the nation for not treating the game as a national holiday.

However the US had twice as many medals in the entire Olympics than Canada did. 34-17.

Well, not good.

It's been something around 53-52 games into the season and they still have lapses in their defence... for example todays game.

Too inconsistant.
They get a good comfortable lead then slack on defence. I've seen this time and time again.

With the amount of talent they have, they should be dominating the east. But their game is weak. Even when they win the seem to struggle bad to earn it against mediocre teams.

they are on a massive losing streak, and still I watch the games hoping for the better...

Now that East and West Germany are the same country it wouldnt have to do with the fact that they have been dominant forces in summer and winter games forever..

This reminds me of when Donavan Bailey won the gold and set a record in the 100M

Then we had a little race between them both and Donavan smoked him after johnson faked a hamstring pull when he saw he was losing lol.

This is about Hockey and that we kicked your asses, not only the mens team but the womens as well.

And I notice how some people who would have been the same ones gloating if the US won the game yesterday are the same ones now saying that hockey does not matter.

Here in Canada baseball isnt as big as in the States but the Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series in 92 and 93.
Then in 94 the Expos has the most wins of any teams and were headed in the direction of making a shot at the world series but convieniant "lets have a strike"

My point is when you guys win something we hae to listen to you guys gloat and be happy.

I said this to Bigdawg yesterday...if the US had won, every second thread would of been about how great the US is.......but, since we, Canada, won, do you see us rubbing it in your face?
I'm not. I for one would of been almost as happy to see the US win......you guys had a tramadic 2001 and anything positive going your way, I would of been heartfelt about.......I love the US and Canada.

At any rate Canada wanted to win both the men's and women's games. That was obvious from the start and that's how they both finished.
