CANADA! - Why cant you protect your borders?

5 terrorists flew to Canada, received official passports and recently infiltrated the US. Recent FBI reports show that Canada's borders have minimal security even with pressure from the US to step up!....WTF???
 
It's not Canada's responsibility to ensure that our Northern Border is safe. Dork.
 
Its probably due to the cost, most of our money seems to be used for the payement of our Health Care. Also lack of man power and resources. Its obviously easier for the USA to protect the border because of the higher population (270million - higher manpower) available to recruit compared to our 31 million.

But I agree, border security and the ability to get visa's should be made alot harder. But the left wing type goverment would never agree and if they did, they would never put it into action (thats our goverment for ya...)
 
Damn, I just went to Windsor last week and they gave me hell trying to get into Canada. I only had a drivers license and SS card for ID and they said I needed a birth certificate and they threatened to detain me.

Read my post - They recieved "PASSPORTS" in CANADA!. They were known terrorists!.....If the US treated Canada with the same policy you would be speaking British!.

Why can't terrorists just take their agression out on Canada for being useless.

This is coming from a country that had "known terrorists" living legally in the US with enough time to perpetrate the largest terrorist attack in US history while simultaneously deporting illegal immigrants who are trying to make an honest living.

The immigration policies of both countries are in serious need of repair, but that doesn't justify the blaming of another nation for our shortcomings. If Mexico ever nukes Canada, Canada should blame us because the nukes had to fly over the US before getting to Canada. Damn Mexicans.

Get your head out of your ass you dumb fuck. NONE of those terrorists were holders of Canadian passports. If you have the dubious article where it states this... POST UP BITCH! Some of them "landed" in eastern Canada and crossed into the US at YOUR fucking border.

I crossed that border twice last year... getting into the US was easy as pie. Coming back into Canada was when I encountered problems... our Customs agents are a bunch of ball bustin pricks. The American Customs/Immigration agents were obviously lazy... they didn't do half the checks their Canadian counterparts did. You guys should pay your agents more... they may be more motivated to actually WORK then.

I am sure many Americans have the same issue as well but I have always had more trouble getting back home then into the US. This includes post 9/11.

The five are suspected of using forged British passports created by a PAKISTANI forger with known ties to Al-Queda. Apparently the Canadians tipped us off after a joint US-Canadian passport investigation found that the passports they used to enter Canada were forged.

In other words, the Canadians are working with us, and in this case at least, doing what they're supposed to be doing.
 
I really hate to see all this Canada vs. USA trash going on. Personally I've never had any problems with Canadians I consider them no different than an American.
What bugs me is the lack of solidarity in this case. If the shoe were on the other foot I believe the US of A would take on her burden as if it were our own.
That goes for any country, some consider us intrusive however that vocal minority is uneducated to the fact that we're invited by surpressed masses that want a better life and rightfully so. One that a dictatorship cannot provide. (If you need examples just ask I'll provide links to faqs)
Furthermore if there was a cabal to get a delusional tyrant into power then the traditional means to remove him will seem strange from those living in more civilized countries.
 
Minion, I have no problem with Americans. I do however, have a big problem with ignorance. Which is what the starter of this thread expressed in spades.

Most Americans have no idea what Canada is doing immigration wise (or anything else for that matter), but throw statements around about Canada like they watch or read Canadian news on a daily basis. *riiiiiight*

It's odd... I find the attacks usually originate from Americans toward Canada. I'm not really sure why that is.
 
I have no beef with the U.S but we accept immigrints here because it boosts our economy and without them we wouldnt have a country in 50 yrs because birth rate is down

It was The United States Border Patrol who let them into your country,we had no reason to turn them down for citizenship if they went through all the nessescary procedures

But the only person who cant see this is SteelWorker
