canada -USA Customs question...

i've been told that there is no customs inspections between canada and usa...is this true?

well there's inspection from us to canada thats a fact so good chances that shit going into us is inspected just as well

You know, I've never been on a Firearms board where they say: "What's the best .45 caliber weapon I could buy? I need to know because I'm gonna kill my wife".

Why do people insist on attaching the a)illegal and b)board prohibited part to a simple question. It exposes YOU and the board (and maybe even anybody who answers you - not settled law) to potential problems.

Absolutely there is. I purchase many items from the US and 60% of the time they are inspected. Don't let anyone kid you.

they ---and anyone along the way--will inspect for any number of reasons--all of which i think we all know and need not repeat--

and nafta is mainly about tariffs....hence all the one-time us manuf a stone's throw from the us boarder and us employment regs

Theres definitely inspections between the boarders. All im saying is when i was driving back home to BC coming through the Washington boarder they pulled me aside for nothing an searched my entire vehicle under no suspicion. Needless to say, they found a tin of chew and took it those bastards!
