Anyone canadian and received gear via mail from US or Europe?

Any time I have received legit packages from ppl in the US, they are opened before I get them, so I can't see how anything can get through.

Bro, I ordered 1000 bucks worth from a guy in Toronto, but he had to get it shipped from Greece to my house.
I was scared shitless.. cuz I didnt know if it was legit etc..

It came to my house, not opened at all.. it was wrapped in wrapping paper etc... and made it look like a present if anyone opened it. It was suppose to take 2 weeks to get here, but only took 1 week and 3 days. I was impressed. I was shipped 3 seperate packages all from Greece and everything was ok.

Now I'm frightened. Don't Canada's laws on possession make customs pass the gear through anyway usually? Ultimately though, since I'm in Canada then even if they open the package and see that it contains steroids, I won't get into any legal trouble but may lose the package, correct?
 
People who say steroids are legal in Canada are idiots. The act of obtaining, and even worse importing, is illegal punishable by jail sentance. A slight loophole is that you may be able to get away with possesion but they will try to prove that you "obtained" it or worse intent to trafik.

Anyway, suppliers boast about their stealth packaging techniques so I don't know what happens once something is x-rayed or opened.

I don't know why the fuck all my packages are opened and if it has anything to do with living in an appartment where larger packages are held for pick up by post office. I think I am going to try ordering gear from Europe next time anyway....

Vancuver is supposed to be hot spot at the moment. for International orders.
 
I have sent many packages into Canada......however strange it ay sound some of them were actually opened by customs and allowed in.........go figure (the gear is always disguised). Sending into Canada for me on the whole has never been a problem or issue. Sombat
 
I prefer to consult the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (1996, c. 19) for relevant legal information rather than a steroid quiz site. Steroids are a class IV substance in Canada. What this means is that if you are caught with a personal amount on hand, you might be OK assuming you do not describe how you obtained it. Receiving a package is obtaining and can be considered importing.... it's all up to the crown if they want to try you for a small amount but it could happen.

"(2) No person shall seek or obtain

(a) a substance included in Schedule I, II, III or IV, or
...."
 
Huh? The RCMP are not responsible for punishment.

(1) No person shall traffic in a substance included in Schedule I, II, III or IV or in any substance represented or held out by that person to be such a substance.

(c) where the subject-matter of the offence is a substance included in Schedule IV,

(i) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, or

(ii) is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.


For obtaining:

(iv) to imprisonment for a term not exceeding eighteen months, where the subject-matter of the offence is a substance included in Schedule IV; or

(b) is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction and liable

(i) for a first offence, to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both, and

(ii) for a subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or to both.

The officers clearly stated that if you import, sells you will get the fine, ( excemptions like importation of
mega titanic quantities ) but most of the peoples will get a fine and thats it.

They dont apply the law to its full extend, and like they mentionned, we have more important matters on ours hand.

i reside in canada, and ive never had any problems, and ive prdered from all over the globe; i guess it all depends on the source, and how they package the gear; ive always had great luck with international orders.
 
Have you had anything opened but come through anyway? I believe that packages are routinely opened regardless of whether or not there is suspicion (like I have had packages of books opened.) What I would like to know is if well packaged/hidden stuff gets by even if opened....
 
In the last couple of weeks i've received from overseas. Packs had been opened, inspected and resealed with all the goodies still inside :chomp:.
Funny thing was the gear was clearly labeled and right there, no hidden shit, so i dunno how they missed it :confused:.
I'd guess that if the order is small you've got a better chance of having it pass through when inspected, but it's still the luck of the draw. :worried:

That is your interpretation of the law. While police could arrest you and charge you for conspiracy to traffic with only one amp of sust, this would never hold up in court and is very unlikely to happen. In the extremely unlikely event that you were caught in possession of a personal amount of steroids are you going to tell where you got them from? Not if you're smart. Since you are so up on the law, can you present me one case where someone with a personal amount of steroids was arrested, charged, tried and convicted?

Well bro, I guess I'm the idiot because I will go on record saying that possesion of anabolic steroids for personal use is LEGAL in Canada.
