Can you usually tell when you are being lied to?

Guys,

I myself have always usually been right on the money with things of this sort, good and the bad detecting.... Even when "I know" am being lied to, bullshitted, or to that extent. I myself prefer to usually just go along with the ride, and let people dig their own graves,..."sort- to- speak." If it is something I either simply feel it is a waste of my time to persue or confront to confront that person, I loose interest with the situation with that person and try to sever ties with that person. Overall, I like to avoid trouble. I guess it would depend on the situation and if it were a close friend, girlfriend, aquantience, or even someone you just met giving you grief. I was curious as to how you other guys handle these types of situations with friends, lovers, or the people you associate with or come in contact with that you feel somehow do you wrong, or have intent to. Are you usually good at telling when you are being lied to, bullshitted, or something sneaky pulled on you from others? It is unfortunate that people today, lie and hustle people like it's going out of style. You never know who you can really trust,... or do you?

Opinions?

Thanks

BT

i try not to care............if someone wants to put forth that much effort to try and decieve me, more power to them, i got better things to do...............like finish this awesome salad.

What prompted this post basically was,..... since I'm 29 right now, and that old saying..."If you have 1 true friend in your life, consider yourself lucky." Kinda mid to late 20's stage where you reflect on who you associate with and give it some thought.

i find a lot of truth in that statement.

Damn,

I went to school with this guy Eric. Half Brazilian, Half Sicilian. Awesome guy. He came over to the U.S. from Brazil freshman year, and we have been friends ever since. Now going over 10+ years. He basically was/is I consider really a guy I would say was a true friend. Nowadays,....as one gets older, we learn how valuable that is. He is in the Air Force right now....

See you soon Brother,

I can tell when someone lies, even if it is not stright away I still find out. The fun part is that I go along with it and the liar has no idea that I know. After that any future discussions with that person will become a joke b/c trust is just gone. That is when I like to leave the friendship behind.

See you soon Brother,

Hard to find even 1 or 2 people in your lifetime like that.

I have 2 good friends that I would do anything for. I know they would do the same for me.
