can you tell if test is fake by putting it in the freezer?

i just read this on isteriod some dood asked it and it kinda sparked my intrest cause if it does something that would show you if its fake i wanna try it...

The test theory is bunk, who ever told you that has a frostbitten brain.

A member on this board ( A Chemist) Linux put this theory to a test for us not too long ago. He did post his results and although there was a minute difference in viscositry using this method in conclusion it turned out to be a very poor way to tell.
