With something other than welding tools?? Can I cut it with a hacksaw?

I have a railing that came off & where I want to put it back up at, it's too long for the space.....

Sure can, make sure you don't have a dull blade or you will be going at it awhile!

diamond edged carbide, the colder you can keep it, within reason, the better it will cut and the longer your blade will last. Water helps a lot.

Kewl!! It'd be easier to cut off (well maybe) 1 span of the railing & put the bracket back on, than to buy a new one.

I make all of my cuts on railing with a 5 1/2 in. grinder, wear safety glasses and watch out where the sparks go.

Listen to this, and I'll tell you about the heartache
I'll tell you about heartache and the lose of god
I'll tell you about the hopeless night
The meager food for souls forgot
I'll tell you about the maiden with wrought iron soul

Ask Vinny to throw it on the Flowjet for ya. He'll fabricate you something lovely.
