Can we get a FINAL word here ?

Everything I have read indicates yes. Not AS toxic as say drol, winstrol or d-bol, but toxic none the less.

Again, just parroting back what I have read...

yeah that is what I think also ..

but lately some people have been saying the ox will not alter liver enzymes ...so therefore it would not be toxic ..

yes it is 17 aa so it is suposed to be toxic ...but like I said I have been hearing that it is NOT toxic at all ..

I haven't heard that personally. Not to say it's not a theory but I don't understand how it couldn't be toxic. How long are you thinking of running it?

I am gonna run a big 18 week cycle soon

and I was planning in using 17 aa tabs during the whole cycle ...

like 6 weeks winny , then switch for 6 weeks to var and then winny again for more 6 weeks

maybe 18 weeks of 17 aa will be too much for my liver

The reason for the confusion is that people improperly cite abstracts and clinical studies when they attempt to apply it to bodybuilders.

What they fail to read, or mention, is that the test subjects were taking 10, maybe 20mg per day. So, liver enzymes didn't show a lot of stress. Same with the whole HTPA ordeal. At 10-20mg a day, most people won't experience total shutdown. So, now you have people scurrying about the internet after having read that, and saying you can basically take all the var you want because it doesn't shut you down or hurt your liver. Just like alchohol, or pretty much anything else, there is a threshold of dosing where the body can carry about its business with minimal consequence.

Speaking of which, I think I'll start a thread on a similar topic...

i ran var for 12 weeks

my liver enzymes were high, i think the ast were triple normal range ??
and one other was double, i dont have my tests in front of me, but yah, its toxic to the liver

definately depends on dose. even though anavar is 17aa it is not as harsh mg for mg as other orals. studies show that higher levels of var make make it out of the system than other orals apparently meaning there wasnt as much of a strain on the liver. i dont understand all the specifics of the study i read on that but the bottom line is 20-30 mg day will not put much of a strain on the liver. 50-75 mg day is a different story. you also have to take into consideration your life style. such as how much you drink, do you take any other medications that can put a strain on your liver, and what and how much liver detox supps do you take. just use common sense and take breaks from all orals to give your liver a chance to recoup. it is amazing how your liver can regenerate itself if you give it the chance to.
