Google ABC amber image converter, free download. Then you can reshape and crop photos and convert them to GIf or any format.
Couple of ways to do this, the easiest is to right click any photo in the internet, save picture, usually bitmap format. Then open it up for editing in ABC, edit and save it as a GIF, then go to edit avatar and pull the properly edited sized pic. Takes a couple of minutes once you learn how.
You can use it for any pic on the internet including gallery images.
