Can doing other things besides Lifting lead to Over training?

I plan on going on cycle soon and just expect to gain some LBM, but am worried if I will over train. I plan on ONLY training 4 days a week and just a little more volume then usual. But I also do ALOT of other things besides lifting. I train Brazilian Jiu-jitsu 1-2 times a week and then box 3 times (but would like to do more if I can get away with it). While these things are tiring they don't stress the muscles quite as much as lifting does. Will these things help lead to overtraining alot? Or not as much as a weightlifting workout? OR even more ??? I just don't want to overtrain and not sure if these type of "workouts" stress the body as much as Weight lifting does.... THANKS BROS!!!!

You should be fine, just stick to your split, and rest each group, at least a couple of days before working them again. the juice will speed you recovery time, but not a whole lot. the other activities are more cardio related, unless your putting in a lot of time on a heavy bag. as far as overtraing goes IMO, a lot of it is hype. common sense tells you if your chest is sore the day after you work chest, then it needs to recover. the same goes for every other muscle . it will let you know when you can train it again. just keep you workouts simple and your diet in check, and you will see results.

Most pro-bb'ers train twice a day six days a week. I don't think you should have much of a worry. Steroids help SO much with recovery that being sore on a cycle is almost non-existant.

Overtraining is largely a function of CNS overload, not muscular fatigue. The CNS gets depressed by max effort stuff: so if you avoid things like 1 and 2 rep maxes, you'll probably be OK.

Just google "overtraining cns" for more articles than you can deal with.

Yea this is more what im worried about I know my muscles will be ok but what about the rest of my body!!!???

Overtraining can be from lack of sleep or not getting enough calories too. Not just lifting. Recovery requires all three. As others have said though you'll be fine.
