Hey, im 5'11 143 pounds I started working out and have gained a bit of muscle but obviously I want to get more. I work bi's tri's around 30 min 4 times a week and i dont follow a diet.

I also eat whatever I want mostly junk but should I go on some kind of diet. Or you have any suggestions on how I can improve my workouts or do something different to gain more muscle mass?

Yep, Radar is right. Spend some time going through the threads and doing some searches (use the search Button)

It will take some time to learn but patience is VERY important in this game.
 
You need to be in the diet disscussion board there is a lot of good info in there. Good luck bro and stick with it, dont give up and youll be glad you did.

I started out exactly like you did, I was (am) a pretty slender guy, followed no diet whatsoever, and hit the gym pretty often. Well let me tell you what dude...over like the last month and a half or so, I stated to try and get my shit togeather. I started eating a gang..like 6 meals a day, of the clean foods, and FINALLY started seeing some improvements. Its all in the training/food/work out schedule/and SLEEP. Ive gained nearly 15 lbs. in the last month and a half (naturally) and Im positive its all cause of the food. Keep motivated, train hard, and be sure to not overtrain.
