calories on cutting cycle

HEMAN

Normally when I cut naturally I take in 12 cal / lbs of bodyweight. I get pretty good results with that and keep most of the muscle but results come slowly. If I go any lower I lose muscle.
I was wondering how you guys when you do cutting cycles adjust your calories ? Let's say I want to do a cutting cycle, should I then lower the calories to 10 cal/lb and let the anabolics take care of counteracting the catabolic proces ? Could I by this way loose more fat quicker ? Or should I keep my caloric intake at 12 cal/lbs ?

Also what would be a good low dose cutting cycle ?

I personaly think 12 cals/lb is a bit on the low side. Training places great demands on the body and even though you're dieting you still need to be concientious about your muscle mass and overall physiological function. For the most part we are all very hard trainers and that in itself requires a substantial increase in calories from a sedentary body...even in a dieting state. I certainly wouldn't go lower than 12cals/lb even with AS.

12cals is good, add cardio, make sure the cals are clean, high protein, low fat, or do keto for 5 days and then refeed for 2 days dont loose muscle with keto and the weight just falls off. The draw back is its not an easy diet to follow and you will feel like crap untill your body gets used to droping into ketosis.

I am currently weighting 84kg. Cutting. Eateing 2000 cals. It is pretty low, but it works for me......you get use to it. Also includeing at last one cheat meal a week is a must for me. That keeps me happy and with enegry.

im assuming you mean 2000cals per day, what is the nutrient break down?
Yes, I fixed it....thanks.
The nutrient bd is like 50% prot, 30%fat and 20% carbs. Fat is flaxseed oil, prot is powder, chicken and turkey, carbs is outmeal and veggies. No diary and simple carbs.
Also diet gelly when hungry.
