Just starting my Test Cyp cycyle.. just started 3 days agoe.. I weigh 5-10, 180(obviously not into competitive b building).. I'm looking to up that weight to 210... would a diet in the 3300 calorie a day range be what I need for these gains..I'm hoping to eat this total along with 250mg of protein a day to reach these goals. I"m 24, been lifting for 10 years. Just curious if a low 3000 a day calorie intake should acheive these numbers.

You're looking for 30 lbs of pure mass ? Bro let's be serious, 30 lbs is kindda impossible. 10-15 lbs would be pretty good with a 3500 calories/250-300 g protein diet. 30 lbs is possible, but half, if not more will be water.....

No man.. I'm talking about over an extended time period.. what would be the aim for calorie intake.. I'm not just talking about on this cycle. Would a 3200 calorie intake be enough to gain this type of weight over a year time period.. Im planning to be on for a 6 months period.

I cant picture gaining on 3200... I recently upper to the 5000 range and have been throwing on muscle without much fat

yeah... but this information is completely useless unless you share your stats. Folks, we get posts all the time and either stats are not posted or they are lacking:

Height
Weight
BF %
Age

Come on....

First, 6 months is way too long to be on, since I guess, this is your first cycle. You'd be better doing 3 x 2 months cycle than only one 6 months. Then 3200 calories might work when off but I would increase that while on.

You'll need to adjust your caloric intake up as you gain weight. Rule of thumb for gain is 17 cal per lb of bodyweight. At 180, that would be 3060 calories... But, you also need to add in an extra 500 to compensate what your body excretes over the course of a day. That would take you to 3560 @ 180 lb. Adjust your calorie per pound upwards/downwards based on extra fat (cut back a calorie or two per pound at a time) or not enough gain (add a calorie or two per pound).

If 17 per lb works for you, it will be 3560 @ 180, 3645 @ 185, 3730 @ 190, etc ...

Of course, if you are supplemented, you may be able to take in more without getting fat. These are only general recommendations.

Read dog craps posts... you can go alot higher on cals if you taper your calories...

my meals usually go..
aprox.. 1500, 1000, 1000, 800, 500, 200-300 then nightly 200-300 shake when i got to take a piss...

Aprox 400-500 grams protein
Aprox 300-400 grams carbs
Aprox 100 fat...

My numbers might not add up but I follow general guidlines and wrote this in exact and in a hurry

Also cutting out carbs mid afternoon and adding fat for meals 4-6 and tapering the fast from high in 4 and low in 6 and none in 7 or mid night snack
