California Emissions?

I just bought a van from Texas for my chick's band... it's a 2001, am I going to have to get it upgraded to CA emissions? I just now thought of this... anyone?

Unless I'm mistaken, all fifty states have the same emissions standards now, there's no longer any difference.

yeah, unless you have significant aftermarket stuff on it, it should pass smog in CA.

I had no problems with emissions on my SUV. It was from Texas.

sorry bro but u got ripped on the shipping fees (fees like that are cool when u buy a ferrari or rare cherry ride )

for an exotic car it is about .75- 1 dollar a mile (top notch shipping)


California - As expected, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has approved new, stricter emissions standards (****)

even cali gas has to be cleaner then other states

has to have fewest ppm of sulfur in it (less sulfur cleaner burning)
sulfur gas is a killer for older euro v8s

same with aftermarket stuff as well...alot of exhaust and other items ARNT allowed in cali...
