Calf Implants for guys with chicken legs?

Are there any guys out there that have them or know people that have them? Any horror stories? I was intrigued when I came across a doctor's website that did the surgery and wondered if they are poplular in the BB community.

I, myself, have always had skinny legs. Dad was big-boned and muscular and mom was tall, thin as a rail, and light-boned. Mom's genetics won out (except for the shoulders and arms) and I was stuck with long, skinny legs, especially my calves. They just never seemed to respond to training, no matter how hard I trained them.

Anyone else have this problem? When I do my cycle later this year, I plan to really concentrate on the legs. I just hope that AS can outgun genetics.

Or, if genetics win out, should I consider calf implants?

Any thoughts?

Why not? Rumour has it that quite a number of the pros have them. I wouldn't waste my money unless I was competing seriously. But if you've got money to throw around, I say go ahead.

Just my $0.02.

my $.02

The whole point of competing in a BB competition is to distiguish the one who has mastered the art of bodybuilding..... sure they use drugs to get there.... but they should be REAL muscle..... otherwise someone could be a buck-O5 and get a bunch of implants all over their body and look like a bodybuilder...... I call bullshit!

Razer..... forget this implant B.S. and either get in the gym and work those calfs ..... or give up on being fully symetrical... you wouldn't be the first

Calves are tough for me I have big legs 28' and small calves, I just make sure they are cut, because I know I will never have huge calves.

If you want them, then you should have them. I have good pecs, but if I had a spare 5K, I would have great pecs.

Modern bodybuilding has become a fallacy. Pec implants, calf implants, synthol, PGF-2, etc. If you want to play with the big boys, you've got to join them! Or you will be inveriably left in the dust.

Yeah, I know........ I just wish it wasn't true.

So the rumor about Arnold having calf implants is true? I remember reading his book when I was about 10 and he mentioned that his calves were always his week point, but he managed to get them caught up with the rest of his body through hard work. Hmmm.

Anyway, my real question was whether AS could defeat a genetic predisposition toward skinny legs. Genetically, I'm more geared toward basketball, not lifting. Can I, with hard work, overcome high skinny calves?
