Cable box question

My...friend....recently got a black box and...he's...a little unhappy. Some of the stations don't come in, and there is a frequency tuning button on the box and even using that doesn't work all the time. On a couple of the porn stations he gets picture but no sound. And on the PPV stations he gets them clear sometimes and other times not.

He got it from A1 Cable Descramblers. Does anyone know if they got a website? You'd think he would know he got it off the internet.

Also is it good to leave the box on at all times. Obviously when youre not home you would shut the TV off, but is it better to leave your box on?

Look into Satelite card programming. Very easy and beats any cable in the country. Can all be done from the comfort of your PC.

its my understanding that analog cable boxes only work on premium channels & PPV channels. It doesn't work on regular cable channels.


If you have digital cable, that is a different matter. All you can do with that is buy a filter that you attach to the back of the box and use it to get free PPV.
