Cabergoline vs Bromocriptine

is Cabergoline that much better than Bromocriptine. Also what is the dosage on the Bromo, i know the dosage on Cabergoline is .5mg e3-4 days but not sure about the Bromo.

I have read that many have more sides with Bromo but what about the effectivness of the drug.

I would like to hear some experiences with the two especially if you have used both.

Thanks,

Flyingjer

Bromo does NOT need to be taken multiple times a day, it can be taken every 3 days. The sides usually include makeing you throw up like you would not believe, at least that is what it did to me.

Umm, keep quiet if you've got no clue.
Active half-life of bromocriptine is 3-4 hours.
It is usually taken with an initial dosage of 1-1.25mg twice daily with 8hour interval.
For hyperprolactonemia induced by AAS 2.5mg twice daily (total 5mg) is the usual protocol; in clinical trials much higher doses (up to 30mg) were applied in extreme cases, but the side-effects completely counterbalanced its therapeutic value.
If at all possible get cabergoline; bromocriptine is a recipe for nausea, nasal congestion and dizziness.
