C2 <---- tastes awful

Uggh! It tasted like regular coke that has been left sitting open and gone flat.

It does taste a little flat but I like it. I can't eat alot of carbs and stay lean so it's a good compromise. I'm trying to drink more diet Snapple and Crystal Light though.

Water.
Ever heard of it?

diet hansens is the best thing ever... all that other crap.. snapple, etc has aspartame. Find the stuff made with good ole splenda. Always tastes better. My new poison is "diet grapefruit juice" only 5 g's of sugar per glass, it's made with splenda in place of the fructose.. pure genius.

I just don't get the whole concept. If someone is trying to cut cals/carbs wouldn't they just drink diet pop? Or no pop at all?

diet coke tastes bad and half calorie coke tastes decent. not as good as regular coke, but still good.

half calorie hawaiian punch is pretty good too, esp when compared to calorie free fruit punches

diet coke with lemon tastes pretty damn good...if i had to drink low carb

but i'd be most comfortable drinking stuff with splenda as it the most natural of the artifical sweetners

it tastes like diet coke mixed with regular coke

There are only a handful of good diet sodas

Good:
Diet orange soda
Diet mt dew code red
Diet Rite Tangerine

Mediocre:
Diet Dr Pepper
Diet 7UP

Everything else ties for undesirable in my book. Diet Rite has splenda in it.

Exactly. Pepsi Edge is similar to this as well. My guess is its 50% Pepsi, 50% Pepsi One.

this is what I tell people too. I have a certain friend who insisted C2 is low-carb friendly. Doesn't it still have like 20g of pure sugar? that's not low carb to me.

people we are missing out- we should be cashing in on this low carb product fad. we need to pool our money and get rich. we actually know the truth, therefore we could rip people off HARD :D

I don't understand why people don't get this. I wouldn't drink diet coke if I was lost in Death Valley but 2-3 C2's a day saves me some calories.

diet pop isn't that bad IMO. I can drink any diet pop and be satisfied. I just tell myself it's either diet pop or water so I'm thankful for any taste at all.

You have to acclimate yourself to diet soda. To like diet soda, you have to stop drinking regular soda with sugar. After about a week, the diet soda tastes normal, you stop noticing the artificial sweetener aftertaste, and if you try a soda with sugar it seems overbearingly, cloyingly sweet.

Yep.. I've been sugar free for about as long as I can remember and now if Drink a coke or eat cake or ice cream it makes me nauseous.

Hardly an apt comparison...

Diet Mt Dew and Diet Mt Dew Code Red are decent as well

Diet Rite/RC and the Diet Rite Flavors are all sweetened with sucralose

I've drank mostly diet soda for over a year now. Most still suck except Big K (kroger store brand) orange soda, diet code red mt. dew and Diet Rite tangerine.

Diet cola, diet root beer, diet any soda except the handful i listed aren't too good. Kool aid made with 50/50 aspartame/saccharin is good though, especially the lemon based flavors

Diet ginger ale is ok though, i should add that to the mediocre list.
