Buying Gear through the mail.........Help !!!

I have never bought gear or supplies through the mail. How do I do it, and is it safe. Should I get a P.O. box, and if so how big?? I'm a neewbie, when it comes to this mail stuff. I've bought everything from friends before, but they only have a "limited" supply. ALL the information on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated. Lol. This is not the way to do it. You will be getting lots of mail from people we call "scammers". Delete everything and be patient
