There's no base. You'll be offered support, but will basically have to learn on your own. The first two years I was doing this I made $18K and $20K. I had to wait tables as I built my client base. I'm stressed, can't sleep, and have become an amazing grouch for a 30 year old. My position is still new to me, I sometimes wish I could go back to what I was doing, less responsibility, shorter days, etc.

I kind of envy the guys that just walk around the mall with a broom and dustpan. It seems like bliss sometimes.

Yeah I've read your other job related stress threads. Doesn't really sound like something I'd like, well, besides the money I don't really like people enough to ever develope a client base either

You know, when I moved here from Philly, I thought it was the wierdest place in the world. Downtown Salt Lake is never busy, people don't use their horns, it's clean. Everyone here is tall and blonde. Yeah, the Mormon shit is wierd at first, but it will only bug you if you let it. I live right at the base of Little Cottonwood canyon, which is where Solitude and Brighton are. 30 minutes to faceshot powder, snowshoeing, climbing and mountain biking. When I have kids here, my only real worry will be lack of culture. Plus, it's cheap to live here. This house would be close to $1M in PA, here it was just over $300K.
