Buy a bike?

And I mean a bicycle - How are you suppose to measure your size etc - The reason I ask is someone bought me a mountain bike about 2 years and has been sitting in my garage and not sure if right size - its a mongoose with shocks on front and back - Doenst seem small but not sure - How can I measure the bike or me etc??

Yes yes yes! It's the best thing to buy! I got one for my birthday and I love it so much I could just about make out with it. I went to a bike shop, let them know what I want, and they gave me lots of suggestions. They had me ride quite a few of them to make sure I was comfy. They totally helped me get exactly what I wanted.

Make sure you have the seat at the proper level too. When the pedal is a the bottom of the rotation your legs should be just about strait.
Another tip. Ride with you knees in. Riding with you knees pointed out will make you look like a novice. Racers etc pedal with the knees close the down tube. It helps with speed and strength!
