Butanediol - legal status and health questions

I've been trying to research on my own whether or not Butanediol is officially scheduled and what it's exact legal status is, but I can't seem to find a clear answer. I had some in my possesion not too long ago and was accused of having GHB (felony charge). Recently I got a letter from the D.A. that said "I would not be prosecuted at this time" which I interpret as the case being dropped altogether considering I was accused of something I didn't do (I only had butanediol in my possession.) I live in GA, can anyone give me some TOTALLY clear information regarding its legal status?

On another note, I have read some posts about it turning into antifreeze in the body and causing nerve damage, but the debates seem to go back and forth, some think butanediol is the worse, others think GBL is, etc.

Anybody have answers?

well, from what i understand its not illegal. It can be prosecuted under the analogue act in california i know. I know a guy in NC that got busted because he had it diluted and bottled up. Im positive its NOT scheduled, and im positive GBL is NOT scheduled although it is "LISTED" basically they arrested you and it wasn't real GHB,....they have no case now, don 't worry.

I am coming off butandiol now and man this shit is tough. Did not leave the house once all weekend. Today seems like the first semi normal day in about 5 days. Personally I like the feel from butandiol better than gbl. Would like to know if anyone has any case studies about what it does as far as damage etc if any.

yeh, 1.4 is a better buzzz, but its metabolized just like alcohol, therefore its as addicting as alcohol, i don't know for sure, but i know of two people that the 1,4 really messed their liver up.

How did it mess their liver up. How often did they use 1/4 for months, years. Also how many caps did they take a day. Only curious b/c wondering if it is bad for you in moderation. For instance, if you only use on weekends etc.

My friend is addicted but don't know how his liver is. He has been on for 5 years and does about 15+ caps a day. He has some real serious issues.

i use to do scoops you got in a little brown bottle you use with a eye dropper. it was pure 1.4 but. all i know is that i left a cap in a plastic cup for a minute why i answered the phone. when i came back the whole bottom of the cup was eaten away. THATS NOT GOOD! WHAT DOES IT DO TO YOUR INSIDES?

bro, i don't think weekends use of 1.4 will mess you up, the guys i knew were doing roughly a gallon every two weeks, you should be fine using in moderation. I used to be a fan of real GHB, bul lately 1,4 gives me a better buzz.

Man are you sure that was 1/4 b/c the pure stuff that I get comes in a plastic bottle. What did yours come in a tin can or something. I heard someone say this before but my 1/4 doesn't seem to melt plastic. I even rubbed it on my hands and nothing. If you look back in time most of the best products were 1.4 most notably enliven.

it depends on what kind of plastic you are talking about, HPDE which is what most plastic bottles are made of will hold 1,4 just fine
