Bulking up for 2 weeks

Hey guys I have got to get ready to compete next year.Due to a injury i was unable to this year. When I was getting ready I started out weighing 185 lbs. In a 3 month period I went up to 210 lbs. But since my injury I dropped back down to 180-185 lbs. Ive heard about some type of diet if you will to where you eat a certain amount of calories durning a bulk phase for 2 weeks then a certain amount for 2 weeks during a cutting phase. They say this is suppose to keep your body in shock instead of just being used to the same old thing day in and day out. I want to try something new cause I figure I can get way over 210 lbs this time being a have alot longer time to prepare. Can anyone help me.

It is called the Anabolic Burst Cycling of Diet and Excercise (ABCDE). You were right in the fact that theoretically if you eat around 5000 calories a day for 2 weeks, then cut it down to about 2000 for the next 2 weeks, you will gain lbm and lose fat.

Have not personally done it myself, but I have talked to those who have. They said the first cycle (consisting of 2 weeks grubbin, 2 weeks cuttin) they made alright progress...nothin great. The following cycles their progress got worse and worse.

IMHO, I dont see it working that well, but everyone is different, you can give it a shot. I think that if you go to http://www.musclemedia.com/ it has a article on it under the training section.

Just remember to not believe everything Mr. Phillips says!:mad:
