Bulking Decision

Cobin

New member
Its hard to really bulking cleanly, so I am gonna bulk with all the good foods I can and give myself one day with some bad food ex. pizza , ice cream etc

I want to get as strong as I possibly can right now so my new goal is to eat, and eat some more.

What do you think? Can you really bulk cleanly enough to add good size/strength?

Of course you can bulk clean to gain size and strength. Flaxseed Oil, Protein Shakes, and lots of good food. Higher carbs than you would normally eat when trying to lose, of course. Just make sure you stray from saturated fats, and fried foods.

The general consensus in the bodybuilding community is that if you want to make good bulking progress, you have to be prepared to gain some fat.

Now some guys take that to an extreme, and go all out eating hamburgers and pizza and all kinds of crazy stuff for extra calories, since they're gunna be gaining some fat anyway.

But I for one, don't like being fat so when I'm satisfied with my cutting progress (I've probably got about a month to go) I'm gunna bulk as cleanly as possible. Flax oil, eggs, complex carbs like brown rice and oatmeal as well as lots of vegetables and obviously high protein foods. I will also do regular cardio so I can stay lean all year round....

.... it might be that I don't gain muscle quite as fast doing it this way, but I don't mind. I'd rather gain muscle slowly and consistently and stay lean, than do the bulking/cutting cycle over and over....

You can bulk cleanly. Look at sprinters. They do incredible amounts of cardio (aerobic as well as anaerobic) and they're usually pretty muscular.

So, in my opinion.... that's your answer. Yes. Just know that if you want to gain muscle as fast as possible, you probably won't be able to stay as lean as possible. That's the way I see it.

while on

i guess it would be safe to say that you could gain cleanly while on gear...

Even decrease bf?

gonna start tren and prop soon and would like to decrease bf while adding a few quality pounds... Any thoughts...
