Bulking Cycle...Keeping the abs!!!

I have read so many different things on here about bros doing mad amounts of gear for bulking cycles and then say BF of 10 or 8...my question is can you bulk on a cycle but keep abs..I am in week 2 of my
test cyp 500 1-10
EQ 400 1-10
Liquid .5 ED

Only gained 3 pounds so far, and I am consuming 4500-5000 Calories a day...good calories too. Tuna, Chicken, S.Potatoe, Rice, Salmon,

I am paranoid that my stomach is getting fatter..this is my 3rd cycle...so can you bulk and keep the abs..and how...cardio?
 
Keep an eye on the waist measurements and if your waist starts to get to big cut back a few hundred calories....
 
best way to take body comp readings, get a caliper and take readings weekly, its not the most accurate method but it does work
 
I disagree with the waist measurement as a gauge of..well anything. Any heavy leg work and even back work will hypertrophy muscles surrounding the waist line.

You're bulking bro. You aren't goiing to be as chisled and you can't expect to be if you are trying to get optimal gains out of your cycle. Eat clean, train hard, and those calories will go to the right place...That's kind of the purpose of AS. If you're overly concerned with loosing some definintion then you simply will not grow to your full pottential...You'll be wasting good gear. Yes, you can bulk and keep the abs. You have to know your body and how to precicesly feed it which most people don't. It's all about diet. Cardio would simply drain your recouperative capabilities and thus impede upon muscle gains. If you eat right and don't over-do the calories then the weight you gain will be muscle mass. You will hold water which looks and feels no different than fat. Many people freak when this happens and cut calories too low to the point that they don't grow. Expect smoothness...it's water. You have to focus on bulking in order to be successfull at it. If you spend your entire bulking cycle concentrating on how to keep the stomach slim then you will waste time and energy that should have been spent concentrating on how to get bigger.
 
I agree Beezers. Why would u wanna waist good bulking cycle if u not even gonna bulk, and by thinking way u thinking u wont even gain much muscle. because u care too much about keeping the abs. Ok ya u might eat few extra calories but lol bro thats no bulking. If u care too much about abs then just stay lean during the summer thats all. When i wanna put on serious muscle and bulk i dont give rats ass if i have abs or not. Its all about putting on size for me. I dont care what i look like during bulking . but that just me since i wanna go al the way in bodybuilding. JUst from my personal exp, guys who afraid of putting little fat on never really grow
 
I agree. If you're going to do a true bulking cycle, you're gonna add bodyfat. Using dex will help with water/bloat at your midsection. When I do a bulking cycle I try to go all out and yes i do add quite a bit of fat along with muscle. -This is why I try to always do my bulking cycles in the winter, so I can loose fat come springtime.
 
beezer and others...thanks for putting things into perspective...I know I was just getting too concerned with my midsection, so I appreciate the advice.
