BULK meal program...

My friend just started lifting about a month ago...He wants to gain some weight so he asked me what kinda meal program he can go on.
I dont know what to tell him, becuase I myself have never had a good eating schedule...I usually just eat 4-5 times a day whatever i can...nothing in particular.

Im also starting a fina/decatest cycle next week, and i hear you MUST eat like super crazy when you are doing it so...

And good bulking meal program advice would be a big help to him, and also me...

thanks guys.

here's a suggestion, something to build off of

breakfast: eggs, toast, fruit, milk
snack: cottage cheese/yougert/tuna sandwich
lunch: grilled chicken salad, baked potato/rice
preworkout: cottage cheese/yougert
Post workout: lean steak, salad, potato/rice, milk
before bed: chicken/tuna/steak, salad, potato/rice

Eating plan looks pretty good, but post-workout I'd drink a whey shake with some dextrose/maltodextrin instead for some quick absorbing nutrition, then eat the steak and whatnot ~45minutes - 1 hour later. also, before bed I'd cut down the carbs and eat some protein/fat meals. Natty penutbutter is a good source of CLA, avacados also have good fat. You could get some flax oil to eat with a slow digesting (something like casien or soy) shake before bed. Its important to get sources of good dietary fat in your diet for proper bodily function and hormonal balance.

when bulking the carbs before bed are great, as long as they are good complex carbs

if you eat eggs and meet, you usually will get plenty of fats, but if you want to lower some of the carb content then you can add in the omega 3,6 fats(actually recomend it)

they whey postworkout is great, but i set this up without any supps as guideline, it can be easily tweeked for them

thank you for your input Bret4
