I want opinions, what is better:

A) bulk to your desired muscle weight even if it's up to 300+lbs then lose all the fat off afterwards.

B) bulk up to a certain %, then cut down to another %.

C) micromanage your calories to make sure you gain as little fat as possible.

D) other

I'm 17 and want to know when a good time to drop the bodyfat is. I don't have a problem with being a 300lb fatass if that's the best way, but i have heard that staying around 12% or so, is the most anabolic.

IMO if trying to bulk up alot, alittle amount of fat gain is almost unavoidable. So a little fat gain isn't the end of the world. When I'm bulking, I'll set a goal for the end of my bulker then get my starting BF%. If I feel that I'm gaining alittle to much fat I'll measure it and see. If I am then ill adjust accordingly. Ie change the diet, step up the Cardio, but won't change my neccessitys for bulking.

what % range do you stay around? i don't care how much body fat i put on as i'm around the early 20%'s nowadays lol, but if it's better overall to be lower, then I'm there. thank you for the reply.
