Bulk and cut in one long cycle?

Hey brothers,

Currently nearing the end of week 6 of my first cycle and absolutely loving what it is doing to my body and how it is making me feel.

I am older with low T and more than likely be on a TRT dose for the rest of my life so not planning a PCT (nothing to go back to).

Thing is, I wasn't especially lean when I started this cycle at 15% and I made a few newb mistakes like cranking up my diet right away and dropping my cardio to about 40% of what I normally do and I have put on a few lbs of fat. I have no problem losing fat so I am not worried about it and want to make sure I get the most out of this first cycle. I am now gaining about 1-1.5lbs per week total weight so am pretty much spot on with my diet.

So now looking in the mirror I want to plan my cut ahead of time so I can psych myself up for it. I think I want to do it on-cycle so I can be a bit more aggressive without worrying as much about losing what I am working so hard to get.

My initial plan was to go on-cycle for 12 weeks, then cruise for a while on a TRT level dose of test, then do a cut cycle but to be honest I don't really want to keep this fat hanging around for that long.

So am thinking about at the end of the 12 weeks, staying on-cycle and going straight into an aggressive cut before going into cruise/bridge mode. I would be much happier and more willing to take the time to let my body recover a bit before planning my next bulk cycle.

What do you think?

I think most people get it backwards. Lose the fat first. Then just grow on cycle.

back in the old days guys would bulk into competition. people lived in the cities more, we walked where we needed to go.

now we have a lazier lifestyle.. computers and tv are the #1 killers. but hey what can you do if you have a white collar job right? i sit in front of my computer 7 hours a day, its my job!! we live in the burbs where we gotta get into our cars and drive everywhere.. no more walking.. believe me if i lived close to my gym i wouldn't drive there!!

but anyway nowadays guys cut into competitions.

Next time will be different. Like I said I made some mistakes, that I won't repeat..

I was at 7.5% for the last 3 years but for various reasons lost my resolve - my low T and hitting the wall at the gym being part of it.

Sooo .. think it would be ok to stay on for an extra 8 weeks or so to lose the fat?

I am not a fan of any kind of drastic changes in diet, Gradual and strict is the only way to go for me. And. I love the cycle I did and the one I'm preparing to do, but they exist to support what I think I could acheive anyway, they just enhance my drive and accent my dicipline (Yea, I said that). So, for me it's, do your cycles and cruise, but just keep an eye on the big picture; long term physique enhancement.
