building mass when leaning?

just wondering is it possible to eat enough protein to put on some muscle since protein is the building block and that the postworkout meal is HIGHLY ANABOLIC since it replenish's muscles and lets the repairing and all that other stuff go into place...........

your body would break down a lot of that protein to use for energy (it doesn't like to do this). you would probably go into ketosis, which is what many people want, you may be better off on the zone diet or something like that, which i think at least lets you have some vegetables!
