brown rice alternative...

Can you give me a good U.K. brand off brown rice, as the ones I have found all take 20mins or there about to cook. Or is there an alternative, i.e. Basmati rice etc. to use for clean carbs.

In the US they sell brown rice that comes packaged in plastic bags with little holes in them (about 2 servings per bag) and you just throw the thing in boiling water for 8-10 minutes, let it drain, cut it open and eat it. (You can cook it in the microwave, too, and it's probably even quicker.) The brand is Success, it comes with 4 bags in a box. I'm sure they would sell something like that in the UK.

If you're looking at the quick/easy stuff, make sure you read the labels (you probably know that...) because some of the instant rices have all that other crap added to them.

minute rice makes brown rice also i think it coks fast i use the bags myself very convienient and easy to make
