SOil is opening. They're a pretty decent rock band.

See, now that's a band I'd like to see.

I really liked Halo, and bought their latest CD for Redefine, and it is pretty decent.

It's alright. Bitches need to learn how to write a better song though.

Rock blows these days. But, they have a few catchy tunes.

I like the direction of rock these days...seems like there's more upbeat stuff instead of the flannel, I'm mad at my parents stuff.

Yeah, the bulk of that album is pretty vapid.

Iliked some songs from their first album, mostly the more industrial sounding ones. Haven't heard anything of theirs beyond that.

Do you recommend any of their other CD's

I can listen to them but I don't really care for them. My band did get an ad placed right next to there's in Metal Edge magazine though, and that was pretty cool to be next to such a huge band.

I actually don't own any Static X material, so I can't really give a good recommendation.

They seemed to have distanced themselves from the industrial aspect of their sound though. The new record, from what I've heard from it, is pretty toned down and nu-metally ....

I saw them live, on the main stage at Ozzfest years ago. Didn't hear of them before then, but I dug it and thought they put on a good show.
