She was at our 20 year high school reunion. She married some nerdy dude that I don't even remember graduated with us. He is the executive producer of "Spin City" they even flew a lear jet to the reunion. She looked pretty good then. I diddn't go up to and said wow brooke or nothing because I think I am just as famous in my mind as she is. Plus her eyebrows are too thick for me.

gonna show my age here but when i was in college in early 80s brooke was very controversial, for that pre-madonna, pre-britney, pre-MTV era. at the time she had just done that infamous calvin kline ad, even making the cover of Time. she was going to Yale, or some ivy league school which proved she was SMART too.
people actually talked about who was on the cover of Time back then and meant you had reached the pinacle of success and fame.
brooke is one of those actresses who never really had to act. just famous for being famous. can't help but like her. she is still very beautiful.
isn't there some flap now about tom cruise speaking out against brooke shields for talking about post partum depression? tom seems to become more bizarre by the year.

Despite the MINORITY REPORT actor's declaration that her career is over, Shields is currently receiving rave reviews playing murderess ROXIE HART in the London theatre production of CHICAGO.
Cruise maintains, "These drugs are dangerous. I have actually helped people come off.
"When you talk about postpartum, you can take people today, women, and what you do is you use vitamins. There is a hormonal thing that is going on, scientifically, you can prove that. But when you talk about emotional, chemical imbalances in people, there is no science behind that.
"You can use vitamins to help a woman through those things."

Actress Brooke Shields has lambasted former pal Tom Cruise for criticizing her "misguided" use of drugs to combat her post-natal depression.
Cruise--who claims to have helped people fight drug addictions through his controversial Scientology religion--recently attacked the Suddenly Susan star for becoming dependant on Paxil, following the birth of her daughter Rowan.
But Shields is disgusted by the Top Gun star's "dangerous" comments and took a swipe at his Scientology beliefs, by saying she wouldn't take advice from someone who devotes his life to creatures from outer space.
She fumes, "His comments are dangerous. He should stick to saving the world from aliens.
