Okay,
who here has done both mega doses of ALA for the purpose of achieving fat loss, and has also done, at some other time, bromocriptine. Wiich did you find more effective?

In my opinion ALA wins hands down. Anyone else?

thanks,

It probably depends on the strengths and weaknesses of the dieter in question. Does he/she have good insulin sensitivity? Does he/she have high prolactin levels? Etc.

Take both, because they act independently of each other.

anyone actually got lyle's book yet? Advice on dose and timing? I have had some negative experiences with bromo and ghb so am a little leary of it.

I should be able to access the e-book sometime this weekend if qfac gets its ass in gear.

What negative effects did you experience? I heard it makes users feel strange while on bromo. I don't plan to use GHB if I use bromo. I'll probably try whatever Lyle suggests in his book.

two of the side effects of bromo are nausea and orthostatic hypotension. These seem to be magnified when using ghb. Got up at night a couple times feeling sick to my stomach, passed out cold on the way to the bathroom. I have a lot of respect for lyle and am interested in seeing what he has to say.

Huckster is currently working on a superior anti-prolactin hook-up for us>CABERGOLINE.It has a superior prolactin reducing capability to Bromo and is much milder in terms of sides.Stay tuned,I'm digging fella's:)...

ha, thanks Georgie. You keep me in line. I started my carb up around 5 after my workout. I had cereal and turkey. Later in the night I had a huge burrito. An hour ago I had some more cereal. I probably went a little overboard at 3600 or so calories.(im 215lbs). Any tips for tomorrow?

bump for bromo.

dont skimp on the ala and youll be golden!:)

Huck isnt Bromos effect on dopamine and norepinephine the key rather than its Prolactin effects?

Georgie: Took 4g of ALA today. Should I do the same thing tomorrow as far as calories?

Huck any more info on CABERGOLINE? Lyle mentions it in his new ebook but it seems much harder to obtain than Bromo. I am very interested in what you think of the sides of Bromo are as Lyle stated that they are very mild when taking the 5mg dose that he suggests.
