broked vein

i hit my elbow on a sink, and broke the blood vessel in it about 2 weeks ago, any thing i can take to help diminish the blood that has gathered there? its still very swollen but the doc i went to see said nothing helps with that, just to wait it out and minimum of a month before it heals. Any input is helpful.

ask him about the option of draining any fluid if its present via aspiration

if a haematoma has formed and has clotted, its gonna take a while for your body to re-absorb it, a serumoma is more immeadiately drainable but that will go away soon and im sure if the doc examined it he would offer it...

as long as he examined it then thats cool...i ainlt no doctor but this is what i was told when i had a a haematoma and serumoma after my gyno op

just sucks that i cant workout now, its been 2weeks and im losing alot of gains

i couldnt work out for longer, about 2 months...mine was very serious though (surgical emergency)

just wait it out or go see your doc again
