all i can say is this sucks!! its been 2weeks and i've lost 20lbs. i cant fuckin believe this happened to me. dirtbike:D
anyway, im feeling very depressed to do my looks now. i dont know what to do. how long after this heals(6-8weeks) will i be able to be back in the gym. some say 6 months but there is no way! all you understand that. well i better cut this short
cheers

I am sorry to hear that. That's the drawback of leading an active life. We are the lucky ones. You will be back and better than ever. Most people that play sports go through this at some point or another. This is a journey, not a destination. Use the time to reflect on your goals, physically and personally. Muscle memory is an amazing thing.

Mike, get your ass in the gym tomorrow. If you have a broken collar bone you can still work legs. You will actually be surprised to find out how many body parts you can work when you have a break.

Work around the injury. Don't stop working out.

i appeciate your input, but i acually re-snapped it doing something simular. believe me i tried it. it was dumb, but we get stupid thoughts in our heads when we grow beyond human potential and lose it.

but at least you went in and tried.

Hey Mike, ask your orthopedic Dr. about a bone growth stimulator. They are just like a tens unit and really help in speeding up the healing process of a fracture. Problem is, most insurance Co's wont pay for them unless you meet certain criteria, like the fracture not healing. We use these things all the time on our patients and it would probably be worth a try to see if your Doc would perscribe you one. Especially since this is the second time you broke it. Let me know if I can help you out.
