I just flipped the "flip top" on a vial of BD Andropen 275, and the foil underneath the cap was a part of the foil covering the area between the glass and the rubber stopper, and was connected to a small ring on the underside of the flip top. This would be pretty difficult for the average yahoo to counterfeit. The manufacture date and the expiration dates are both stamped in light blue and the rest of the text on the label is printed in black.

I've seen this before, even though I've never injected (this will be my first cycle) so it occured to me to post it so others know what to expect.

yeah that's how they work... one thing i've noticed about BD vials though is that a lot of time the foil doesn't break clean, and when you flip the top it tears the foil cover off the stopper completely, leaving no more crimp.. kinda cheezie i think personally.
